When Karin Lange is not in her studio she can often be found foraging in her garden, planting anything succulent or native.

For Karin, painting is a process of push and pull. Visually moving from the fullness of all her experiences she works to refine her paintings, searching for clarity. She focuses on colour and balance in her abstract compositions, enjoying the capacity that her materials have to move to express her ideas.

Karin is interested in colour, minimalist architecture and design and on a more personal level, some space in one way or another to be fully immersed in her art, to enjoy skies, to think.

She has a BA in Visual Communication/Illustration and a Post Grad Diploma Teaching Visual Art, Secondary – UC.
