Karin returns often to the idea of temperament – the ancient four elements of earth, air, water and fire, plus Aristotle’s mysterious fifth, aether. Across four small panels, a soft pale blue holds steady while colour interrupts it: a yellow mark here, a red form breaking free there. Each square its own small character, together forming something closer to a mood than a message.
