Carpenter works with moody, earthen tones and elusive lines to explore how colonial legacy lingers. The line becomes a metaphor, at once boundary, history, and unraveling. Under the surface, something insists on being seen. Uncovering Line peels back the paint, and perhaps a bit of history too. What’s hiding under your tidy narratives?
