Cast glass is more than a sculpture, it is a painting captured in glass; so complex is the technique that there is little predictability of outcome in colour and form – yet that is the beauty. Inferno, in it’s rich topaz, gold through to cinnamon colours, plays with artwork around it. It demands attention and wants to be seen, yet doesn’t shout. It doesn’t need to.

Di Tocker’s incredible glass works appear to defy glass itself. Almost ice-like in composition and palette, they have an alluring appeal as light bounces through their beautifully polished curves and purposefully rough-cast ends that present a delightful juxtaposition.
