Kathryn’s background in architecture forms the foundation of her work, alongside her deep love for the coastal environment. The dramatic Northland landscapes, plunging into the sea at steep angles, are scenes that resonate with every New Zealander. With her focus on capturing this essence in her work, she aims to convey the beauty of these shorelines. In the meantime, it remains just a calming, beautiful scene.
