Spring Rain

Red dominates – fervent, almost holy. A faint cross divides the space, its centre holding the ghost of a figure, that disappears at the edges. The painting hums with renewal and loss: a resurrection undone, a body dissolving back into colour, as if grief could bloom again as light.
