Known for his iconic commissions of animals, large public public displays and intricate flower bouquets, this Mahoe leaf begins as a screen-printed design, then cut to achieve the look of a leaf on the forest floor. Hanging just proudly off the wall, the delicate steel cutwork responds beautifully to changing light, radiating joy both day and night.

Jeff Thomson is well regarded as one of New Zealand’s foremost metal sculptors, especially in corrugated iron.
